Mark Allen (born 22 February 1986) is a professional snooker player from Antrim town in Northern Ireland. He won the World Amateur Championship in 2004. The following year he turned professional and took only three seasons to reach the elite World's Top-16. For the 2009/2010 season, he is ranked no. 11, up five places from the previous year.
